From Start to Finish
Step 1: Discovery
Projects start with a no commitments discovery meeting which is an opportunity for us to get to know the clients design and practical requirements. The subsequent off and on site discussions also help us understand the client’s personality, their individual aesthetic sense & life style, in essence to learn what is important to them in starting the creative process and to progress to a concept stage design which is a true reflection of them.
Step 2: Concept Presentation
In response to the client’s brief a concept scheme is created for discussion. This will be presented in the form of draft layouts showing space utilisation and furniture layout. Mood boards will be customised for each project to convey the colour, texture & feel palette of the project. This meeting will be followed up with signing of a design contract.
Step 3: Detail Design
Once all elements in the concept design are agreed with the client, the project moves to detail design and specification stage . All the elements of the scheme are detailed and explored for the client to sign off .
Step 4: Procurement
Once the detailed design has been agreed a detailed cost plan is presented. This sets out the cost of each individual element per room and summarizes the project total. Costing for custom made furniture and bought out items are listed individually and a costing comparison is presented to the client with vendor options.
Step 5: Project Management
Progress of the project is managed and monitored on site on a regular basis and any issues arising in the course of the project are resolved in a timely and pragmatic manner in order to maintain quality and time. All snagging issues are resolved quickly and efficiently to the client’s satisfaction.
Step 6: Dressing and Handover
With construction and fixed carpentry units completed, we coordinate the delivery and positioning of all furniture and furnishing. We often curate artwork and home accessories at this stage as well, to create the finished look, or we can dress your new interior with your existing treasures to give each room your own personal stamp.
